Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, at Mount Royal University.
My work applies biomechanical methods to understand the risk for and the long-term consequences of pathological conditions.
My current projects use various imaging techniques to investigate the lived experiences of pathological conditions, especially trauma, in the Roman period.
I also have projects that investigate different ways of quantifying cortical bone in fragmentary remains, as well as the bioarchaeology of impairment.
